Charities

Here at Anderson Wilde & Harris we place great value in supporting charities that to seek to improve the lives of those who may otherwise be left struggling. Our day-to-day work in the London property market can often see us working with some of the most expensive and privileged addresses, as well as with ordinary people buying their first homes. Some of the charities we have worked with in the past have chosen to look after the needs of some of the most vulnerable and most poorly children in the capital.

In many respects these charities look after the future of our nation in ways that we could not possibly achieve. As such, they deserve our thanks and our support.

Their amazing and selfless work is an inspiration to us and reminds us that the UK is, at its heart, a country that cares about those in need.

Charities we are supporting

This year, we are supporting two charities that work closely with young people, Stepney Bank Stables and Centrepoint.

Stepney Bank Stables is a registered children’s charity based in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne that uses horses to engage with young people. Cater for riders aged 3+ and for all riding abilities, this charity believes that horses are a fantastic medium for teaching kindness, commitment, resilience and responsibility among many other things.

Centrepoint provides housing and support for homeless young people regionally in London, Manchester, and through partnerships across the UK. Founded 50 years ago, they have supported thousands of homeless young people who have had nowhere else to turn.
