In addition to our excitement about anything related to property management, surveying and valuation, we love engaging with other experts in the property industry. Being able to meet our network of property professionals in person was one of the things that we missed most during the pandemic lockdowns.
Having run numerous Property Social events in the past, we were therefore delighted to host the second Property Social event in partnership with Wharf Financial on the 28th October 2021.
Held at the Temple of Foo, near St Paul’s and the Old Bailey in Central London, over 50 experts – representing 30 companies – joined us over the course of the evening. Our Property Socials are relaxed, informal affairs, offering the attendees valuable networking opportunities whilst enjoying some high-quality refreshments.

Jamie Chamberlain, Sales Director at AWH, arranges these meetings. He commented:
“We get a real mix of people at our social events; surveyors, developers and architects, as well as professionals from both legal and financial institutions. It is always good to see some old faces, but also to get to meet a few new ones! We love to be in a position where we can help our existing contacts facilitate work between each other.”

Something to keep an eye out for
During our day-to-day jobs working with professionals and properties across London and the South-East, it is often easy to forget that there are many families in and around the region whose daily lives are very different as they seek to care for children who have serious or terminal conditions. We might not be equipped to help these families directly, but thankfully there are charities out there who are. Demelza is one of these!
Offering a range of hospice and home-based support, the work Demelza do with families and children is inspirational. As with all charities, they can only continue to provide this much needed care to those who need it through support of donors.
For this reason, we are pleased to announce that we will be seeking to raise funds for Demelza by taking part in the N2 Challenge. This cycling event follows Portugal’s Nacional 2 road, which runs the entire length of the country; that’s over 460 miles from Chaves in the north to Faro on the southern coast.
The N2 Challenge will take place in June 2022 and we look forward to launching our fundraising at an upcoming Property Social, so keep an eye out for future announcements!
