Jamie Chamberlain
Sales Director

Jamie joined AWH in December 2016 and is very proud to have worked his way up to Business Development Director and a member of the Board. His key responsibilities are creating and implementing the company’s sales strategy, helping the company to grow by bringing in high quality work and clients, and ensuring existing AWH clients receive the best service possible.

Any success he’s had, he puts down to two things: firstly, the quality and breadth of experience in the various teams at AWH - it’s one thing to bring the work in but completing it to the highest standard is vitally important. Secondly is the network that he has built and nurtured. He says that thankfully for him, it’s very much a case of who you know and not what you know.

He's been very lucky to meet some amazing people through work, and a particular highlight was cycling the length of Portugal for “ChildAid in Eastern Europe” last summer, with a number of clients and contacts. They raised nearly £30,000 and it’s an experience he won’t forget in a hurry.
Fun Factor
His main passions are cooking and sports. There are very few sports he doesn’t like, so he’s always up for a day on the golf course, or at the side of a rugby/football/cricket pitch.

He says he’s also probably one of the few people who support both West Bromwich Albion and AFC Wimbledon.

Business Development

Thank you for doing such a great job of managing the properties. Before you took over we always noticed that there seemed to be an unnecessary amount of gardening being done - at an excessive cost per year. We're pleased to see that the front garden looks just as nice but you've significantly cut the costs.

Removing the fire escapes, as well as improving safety will be a significant improvement to the light quality in the flats below, and will reduce the damage to the windows below.
